GeoARK is a hardware and software solution created by FBS to integrate Google Earth Enterprise with FBS datasets and an organization's own geodata. A client server-based data repository, GeoARK sits securely behind the organization's firewall and is accessible on Linux, Windows and MAC desktops.

FBS can provide a customized Google Earth Globe, stored on a Google Earth Server, and streamed to a Google Earth Client desktop. Users can fly into areas of interest and view geographically correct information from street maps and terrain, to 3D cityscapes and subsurface infrastructure.

With the ability to incorporate up to 256 data layers within Google Earth Enterprise, GIS specialists can add datasets to their own custom Globe, providing access for non-GIS Professionals to view high-quality and accurate geodata. Using Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Web Services running on an FBS Data Server, GeoARK includes the ability to stream geodata to other GIS software applications such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, ArcScene and GeoMedia.
