First Base Solutions is Google's first geospatial partner in Canada and one of a select few worldwide.
As an Enterprise Professional Google reseller, we offer a variety of Google Products and services such as
Google Earth Enterprise allows you create more than just simple maps consisting of points, polygons and KML. The ability to add custom imagery and vector data will make that information accessible and useful to anyone in your organization from decision makers to front-line employees. Google Earth is an intuitive, visual and fast application.
With Google Earth Enterprise you can build a private globe from your own geospatial data. Government agencies and businesses run the server in their own data centers, keeping data secure behind a firewall with access restricted to authorized employees. Combining terabytes of geospatial data into one globe allows employees rapid access, improving productivity and decision making processes. Google Earth Enterprise can incorporate data from ESRI, Oracle, MapInfo and more.

Rapid time to value
Google Earth Enterprise can be installed in a matter of days, and widespread familiarity with Google Earth
minimizes training needed.
Keep your data secure
Google Earth Enterprise offers two deployment options. It can be installed on internal servers, secured
behind a firewall, or you can work with your data layered on top of Google's global database of satellite
imagery and mapping information. Either way, your data is secure and protected from unauthorized access.
Take it with you
A portable Google Earth Enterprise solution is ideal for situations where bandwidth is limited or
unavailable. Disaster relief and other field operations can take advantage of mobile data access.
Search easily
An optional search plug-in allows users to find relevant information within your organizations geospatial
data and view it on the globe.
Go beyond Earth
Google Earth Enterprise now allows users to view data about the Oceans, the Moon and Mars. Historical
imagery is also available, allowing the comparison to present day information to assist users in
understanding the evolution of a place or region.
Google Earth Enterprise uses the same technology used to power the public Google Earth. There are three software components; a client, a server and a fusion server that combined, bring full Google Earth capabilities to internal data. The server software runs on Linux and can be installed on any commercial rack-mount server. Disk space required will vary depending on the amount of data stored and managed within Google Earth Enterprise. Client
Installed on a user's computer, the google Earth Enterprise client looks and functions exactly like the
public Google Earth, but allows users to connect directly to their organization's private globe. In
addition, users can view data in a 2D map from the Google Earth Enterprise server.
Server
The Google Earth Enterprise server hosts the data and delivers it to the end user through the connection
to the Google Earth Enterprise client
Google Earth Fusion
Combines and organizes the organizations geospatial data in a globe that is available to the users via the
Google Earth Enterprise server. Google Earth Fusion integrates raster data, including imagery and terrain
data, with vector data, such as KML and 3D models.
