FBS chose the 86 megapixel Vexcel digital UltraCAM for its aerial image projects for many reasons including better image quality, higher resolution capability, streamlining of image processing with much faster turnaround, and ease of operation.

Every picture taken is mirrored for security and redundancy. The multiple lenses feature 8 synchronized camera cones, 9 pan arrays, 4 multi-spectral bands, and syntopic imaging so that every captured frame provides an error-free central perspective for the creation of orthorectified images.
