AUTO IMAGE PROCESSING
FBS has considerable expertise in aerial imagery post-production processes, and the industry tools and standards required to support GIS and engineering use of map images. The company has also invested heavily in hardware and software tools for automated image conversion, compilation, stereo modeling and orthorectification.
We create orthorectified imagery and 3D models from raw image files. Images are compiled and integrated with data files, a digital elevation model (DEM) and proprietary stereo models to create positionally-accurate detailed photo imagery.
Custom output from aerial imagery can be converted and made available in various industry standard file formats.
Our post-production technology infrastructure includes 24 ISM DiAP digital photogrammetric workstations, an IBM 100 terabyte storage array network (SAN) and a 200-tape automated storage and retrieval silo for near-line storage backup.
