Intergrating DEM, Aerial Imagery and Stereo Models, creating high volumes faster than ever before.

FBS combines its stereo models produced from imagery with digital elevation model (DEM) data, building feature extraction capabilities, and advanced image processing automation to create rapidly mass-produced high - resolution 3D models of man-made objects (buildings, bridges, water towers, etc.) and geographic features (hills, escarpments, etc.). The end results are affordable geospatially-accurate 3D models with photo-realistic facades.

Features:

Conforms to Collada specifications

Optimized 3D vector buildings with fully-textured, photo-realistic facades

Height, length, width, distance and elevation measured for all buildings

Compatibility with ESRI, Google Earth and other popular GIS, CAD and 3D rendering/modeling software applications

3D models can be bundled with orthorectified imagery

Elevation information for each building is used to extrude an image from rooftop to the ground. To create facade data, the building's details in oblique images are captured by the high degree of overlap used during aerial imagery acquisition. Using proprietary software that conforms to Collada specifications, XML building model schema is combined with textures captured in JPG file format to create a fully textured 3D building model. The process is designed to rapidly render cityscapes into 3D models from aerial imagery.

FBS' 3D models are compatible with Google Earth, ESRI and other popular GIS, CAD and 3D rendering software applications.

Captured images include every commercial and residential building plus all other man-made objects larger than 50 square meters. Major architectural details of every building are visible including setbacks, plinths and rooftop objects greater than 2 cubic meters.
